Welcome to OutdoorDirect. By accessing our website at www.outdoordirect.co.za or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
1. About OutdoorDirect OutdoorDirect is an online-only premium outdoor apparel and gear store operating from South Africa. We utilise global on-demand fulfilment networks to manufacture and ship custom products directly from third-party print facilities to you.
2. Order Modifications & Cancellations Once an order enters production, it cannot be modified or cancelled — including changes to size, colour, artwork, or delivery address. You are solely responsible for ensuring all order details and your delivery address are accurate and complete at checkout. If we cancel your order due to stock shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.
3. Returns, Reprints & Refunds All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect size selections. However, if your product arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photo or video evidence. We will issue a free reprint or full refund. Please refer to our full Refund Policy for complete details including lost-in-transit timelines.
4. Intellectual Property All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, product designs, and digital assets — is the exclusive property of OutdoorDirect. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, or use our content or designs for any commercial purpose outside of purchasing directly from our store. For products featuring embroidery, minor variations in stitch texture from digital mockups are inherent to the manufacturing process and do not qualify for refunds.
5. Payment All payments are processed securely at checkout before any order enters production. Prices displayed are in the currency shown at checkout and may be exclusive of local taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable import duties, VAT, or customs fees at your destination — see our Shipping Policy for full details.
6. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) — South Africa Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Where applicable, you retain all rights afforded to you under South African consumer protection legislation.
7. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA) We process your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OutdoorDirect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, shipping carrier delays, or the use of our products in the field. Your use of this service is at your own risk.
9. Governing Law These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
